Night vision equipment comes in two different types, one being thermal imaging based on identification of a target from a heat signature; the other being image intensification whereby ambient light levels are electronically magnified in order to view a target. Mudgee Firearms sells both types of unit to meet your particular shooting requirements.

PARD NV008 & NV008 LRF. The PARD NV008 is the world’s latest night vision scope, offering superb performance at a budget friendly price. The NV008 can be used both day and night, offering detection distances out to 200 meters. Magnification range is 6.5-12x. The PARD Night Vision Scope offers a huge range of features such as wifi streaming to a smart phone, built in infrared illuminator and more. It will record video at 1080P HD resolution. Its weight is just 420g. It is also available with built-in laser rangefinder (LRF).

PUSLAR EDGE GS 1×20 GEN1 NIGHT VISION GOGGLES. At the core of the Edge GS 1×20 NV Goggles is a unique combination of specially designed optics, CF-Super Image Intensifier Tube, and wide angle five lens eyepiece, which provides lack of distortion and the highest edge to edge resolution performance. The unit is suitable for a huge variety of purposes, including hunting. Lack of visual magnification (1X) provides the user adequate spatial orientation and comfortable operation when in motion; the user is able to estimate distance to the object or between objects correctly. It is equipped with an energy conserving IR illuminator with adjustable power. IR power adjustment wheel and other control elements are located on top of the device for easy access.

The Edge has enhanced service durability. The housing is sealed, allowing the device to be used in harsh conditions such as in the rain or a dusty environment. The device has an image intensifier tube protection system; once the luminance threshold level is exceeded, current feed to the tube is automatically reduced or fully ceased so as to protect the unit for light damage.

GSCI CNVD-22 GEN3 NIGHT VISION SIGHT. The clip-on Night Vision Sight CNVD-22 is a high-performance system that mounts to any MIL-STD-1913 rail interface in front of a daytime sight. This gives the operator night vision capability from a standard day sight system. The fast F:1.15 catadioptric lens brings brighter and sharper image in moonlight, starlight, or even overcast nights. The unit is installed, operated, and removed without tools and without affecting boresight alignment. Unlike most other similar systems, the CNVD-22 has conveniently built-in collimator which allows to “fine-tune” any smallest discrepancies or possible misalignment. The CNVD-22 can be mounted in front of a spotting sight for long-range reconnaissance, or placed in front of a sight. The best viewing can be achieved with the day sights having various power between 3X – 9X while other clip-on units on the market have severe image degradation after 4X. While mounted on the MIL-STD-1913 rail, the CNVD-22 can withhold mid to heavy recoil.
