WEBLEY MK IV, .38/200. This Webley is a fantastic piece of wartime history in remarkably good condition! The Webley Mk IV was the smaller and more practical sibling of the .455-cal Mk VI, produced for police, military and civilian use from 1932 until the 1980s. It saw widespread use by Commonwealth forces in WWII. This example is a wartime model, made 1940-41. It is marked “war finish” but it was refinished during the post-war FTR process and appears to have suffered very little since. Previously owned for 30 years on a collector’s licence. Apart from minor marks and a chip out of the bottom of one grip scale, this old service pistol is stunning. The action is tight, the extractor returns snappily, the trigger is wonderfully crisp. For collection or service pistol competition, this one is a shoo-in in such great condition. Don’t miss out.
